by John Pratt, Jr. and Buzz Roman to
offer the cleanest, pampered, pre-owned motor
homes in the USA!. Located on Interstate Highway
35 just north of New Braunfels, Texas between
San Antonio and Austin, the dealership is in
the heart of South Texas. Roman Holiday is a licensed and bonded Texas Motor Vehicle Dealer.
Since it’s opening in 2004, RHMH has received
regional and national recognition for having the “Cleanest
Pre-Owned Motor Homes in the Country!”.
New motor homes incur
such a large depreciation over the first couple of
years that pre-owned motor homes
provide significantly higher value. Roman Holiday can
provide 30 to 50% savings to buyers of “Like New” pre-owned
motor homes. We search the nation to purchase pristine,
low-mileage coaches. These are frequently
trade-ins on new coaches, owned by particular RV enthusiasts
who  are “trading up” to larger coaches.
John
Pratt, Jr., RHMH Partner, has 20 years RV industry experience.
John began his RV career as a sales associate with TA
Andrews Motor Homes in San Antonio, Texas in 1983. He
quickly rose to Sales Manager. Subsequently, John became
General Manager of Crestview RV Center, Austin. He was
the founding General Manager of Ron Hoover RV Dealership
in San Antonio.
From 1998 to 1999, John
served as president of the San Antonio Chapter of the
Texas RV Association. For several years, John served
as regional Sales Manager for Teton Homes, a large manufacturer
of travel trailers and fifth-wheel trailers, rising to
responsibility for sales in 22 states.
C.H. “Buzz” Roman began his career as an IBM salesman in 1966. In
1975, he and his partner became the first Wendy’s
franchisee in Texas. They built 24 Wendy’s
and sold them back to Wendy’s International
in 1984. Buzz co-founded the Alamo Café,
Aunt Julie’s Kitchen and Rooty’s Root
Beer. He also served as acting President and Chief
Operating Officer for Church’s Chicken (NYSE).
In
1990 Buzz founded and currently serves as managing
partner of Roman & Houser
Development Ltd, a San Antonio commercial property
development company and he owns R-Classics
Motor Company, a specialty classic car dealership
formed
in 1994.
 In 2001, Buzz began
offering pampered coaches for sale in R-Classics
Motor Company. In January
2004, Buzz purchased 3.5 acres in New
Braunfels, Texas and Roman
Holiday Motor Homes was “born” to
serve motor home enthusiasts.
The
dealership occupies a new 3,000 square foot facility.
The property has nearly three acres of asphalt
paving and is one of the few dealerships in Texas
with power hook-ups at each coach |
